Meg is a trained artist, earning a BA in Studio Art from St. Edwards University in 2008, a background that continues to inform her aesthetic and practice as a stylist. Upon graduating from the prestigious Aveda Institute of New York City in 2011, she spent her first few years apprenticing in upscale salons in Soho and Nolita, fine-tuning her styling, cutting, and color skills. Meg has combined her talent and knowledge for both fine art and hair to become a sought after blonde specialist, creating thoughtfully customized colors to perfectly accentuate the cut, texture, and unique features of each client. With an affinity for the nostalgic styles of yesteryear—sleek flapper bobs, perfectly coiffed mid-century updos, bouncy 60s Bardot inspired layers, rock and roll shags and mullets—her low maintenance cuts give a modern nod to vintage looks.
